The emphasis in every class is toward improving your painting skills and developing a personal style.
Intermediate painters may choose to continue work that is in progress or join in the demos and exercises. The philosophy of self-development continues and the emphasis will be on enjoying the painting process.

You will bring their own supplies to these classes.

Supplies for Oil Class

Beginning level is for the student with one or less years experience with oil or acrylic painting. You will focus on COLOR and getting to know your palette. Demonstrations and exercises will introduce you to color mixing, seeing where color changes occur, reproducing local color and techniques for applying paint.

Intermediate students are those who have one year or more experience.You have the option of observing demonstrations and painting exercises or design your own work from still life, natural or man-made objects. You may also paint from your own sketches and photographs.
